Canaries

Finished the first draft of the novella this week and off to print it out (my printer ink having run out and not wanting to use up a new cartridge on 125 pages) before sending it to a selected few for a “Beta read”. It took me just over two months – not bad for a story that ended up coming in at 30,000 words, half the length of a short novel.

Afer all that discussion over titles, I finally plumped for something completely different – Canaries – which much more eloquently sums up what I am trying to say. What’s that? Well, you’ll have to read the book!

I expect to launch around February/ March, all things being equal. Meeting a friend for lunch today where I plan to discuss the cover – I’ve got a great idea, can’t wait to share it with you…
